Rev. Dawn Flynn is a Southern minister yearning for validation in the pulpit and working toward reconciliation in her marriage — challenges she didn’t face when she was Duane. Proper Pronouns chronicles the emotional journey of Dawn and three other transgender ministers as they attempt to redefine their identities and prove to their Southern congregations that they belong in ministry.

Director Megan Daniels will be in attendance for a Q&A immediately following the screening.

The screening will open with the documentary shorts “Liz at Large” and “A Fine Girl.”
