On a quest to finish the film project her father began decades earlier, Betsy travels from the mountains to the seashore of North Carolina, discovering a path made up of life's most vibrant elements — family, community, music, food, and a deep connection to nature. As Betsy navigates the grief process, she unveils her father’s legacy and reveals for viewers the beauty and meaning of a life well-lived.
